UPCOMING PROJECTS

Speak! Through The Body, Uninhibited (2019-2021)

Presenting in 2021 with support from the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events. Presented with Trifecta Dance Festival in 2020, jello dances at Links Hall, and Summer Shorts open mic at Sway Dance Chicago in 2019.

This ongoing project combines journalistic research practices, choreography and multimedia to explore the impact of movement and dance on myself and others. I'm looking to bridge the gap between professional dance artists and those who feel disconnect from movement in daily life.

CURATED PRODUCTIONS

On Being Well (2019)

Presented at Asterisk Arts Collective.

Premiered 8 works by 7 emerging choreographers (including myself), "On Being Well" invited an intimate audience to engage in discourse on mental health. 15% of sales and donations went to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).

PAST WORK

A site-specific piece inspired by Susan Aurinko’s exhibit “Searching for Jehanne” and Martha Graham’s “Seraphic Dialogue” that de-sensationalizes the legends of St. Joan d'Arc, instead investigating the weight, responsibility and fear that a young woman leading armies into battle would have felt.
