Choreography

From arts advocacy to strong women of the past to rock & roll, my choreography spans a range of styles and expression.

Upcoming Projects:

Speak! Through The Body, Uninhibited

Performed with jello dances at Links Hall and Summer Shorts open mic at Sway Dance Chicago. More performancesTBD.

This ongoing project combines journalistic research practices, choreography and multimedia to explore dance's significance as a First Amendment right to freedom of expression. I'm interviewing artists, non artists, art enthusiasts and art un-enthusiasts and creating dance films and blog posts on Art Intercepts with the information gathered.

To be presented on social media soon and in October with Project Bound Dance.

This 1 hour dance film and collaboration with dancer Kaela Norwood and videographer Timothy Tsang explores a common frustration with the climate crisis and the U.S.'s continued reliance on fossil fuels despite so many green alternatives.
